Creative Hat

A funny way of transporting snacks, but a very effective way. Don't loose balance unless you want to have some happy ants.... They do the same with Fruit Baskets and other stuff...

Eating Monkey

Monkeys are commen in Cambodia but always be careful with them as they can turn on you and scare the shit out of you. They like to steel. In some areas of Sihanoukville they visit you on day time to find/get some food. So watch out...

Cambodian Kids

A bunch of Cambodian kids like you see them every day. Those will be the future leaders of Cambodia.....

Beach Sand Castle

A classic sand castle build on Otres Beach. Build by one of the tourists. Took him a couple hours. What a shame that shortly after he finished, some local kids came and destroyed it....

Rice and Ricefields....

Ever wondered how rice is growing. Those pictures should help to understand it a bit more. Camabodia is one of the leading countries to produce rice. This year it might fall a bit short because we had a very dry rainy season so far. Bad for the crops but nice for tourists and expats, as for the last couple years the rainy season was heavy to take....

Local Electrical Installation

Any professional electrican should take a closer look to this installation. If you can zoom it in. And this is just one of so many wired installations in Cambodia. It's quite commen that somebody gets electroluded or get's hit by a thunder. Local construction works with one and only one goal, save where ever you can. They rather take a fire then spending a bit more on correct material....

Elephant on the Road

Once in a while we get visited by an Elephant. It's still impressive to be next to one of these big fellers as you feel very small. Elephants in Cambodia are not that much used like in Thailand. I'm not aware of an Elephant Farm or so. Nore are there tours available with the big fellers. When have you guys seen lately an elephant?

Drunken Recovery Position

This could happen to you if you do not listen your mother..... Early morning shot, 9 am, so I guess they had a pretty harsh night behind them.............

Waterfalls of Sihanoukville

Thinking about Waterfalls, well, Sihanoukville has some. They are truely not that impressive but hey, it's a Waterfall. Just about 20 minutes away from down town with some nice suroundings for a little pic nic. You might encounter one or the other plastic bag, as cleaning seems not to be their strength. Taking a swim is doable in some areas but the water is pretty cold...!

Sunsets in Sihanoukville

Those pictures are just to make you very hungry for Sihanoukville. Being on the edge of the countrys coastline, Sihanoukville is predestinated to have sunsets one more beautifull then the other. Come and check it your self. It's amazing.
